About the Role:
MLR is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Technologist/Technician to join our dedicated team in Pennsylvania. In this vital role, you will conduct laboratory tests and procedures that are essential for diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses. Responsibilities include sample testing, result analysis, and equipment maintenance, while ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests on blood, urine, and tissue specimens.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment with precision.
- Accurately analyze and report lab results.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret test findings and offer insights.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
- ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid Pennsylvania state license.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
